Hi there, I'm Meg!
I'm a Brisbane based Coeliac with a love for food. I was diagnosed in 2015 after ten years of being unwell and a misdiagnosis. I was grateful when I found out what was causing my illness but going gluten free was a hard adjustment for me, I loved fresh jam donuts, fried chicken, turkish bread and chocolate paddle pops - all things I thought i'd never have again.
I've always had a love for baking but when I tried to convert my old recipes to gluten free nothing tasted the same and so I set out to create gluten free foods that you wouldn't know were gluten free. Foods that tasted how I remembered. So here I am, to share the lessons I learned and the recipes I've perfected to help others on their gluten free journey.
